1 Getting started

nightbio gives you a single link that leads to a page with your photo, bio, and all your important links. No coding required.

Create your account

Go to Sign up and choose either email + password or Continue with Google. You’ll be asked to pick a username—this becomes part of your link: nightbio.lol/yourusername. Choose something memorable and consistent with your brand (e.g. your handle or name).

Username rules: Letters, numbers, and underscores only. Usually 3–20 characters. Once set, you can change it later from your dashboard, but your old link will stop working so update it wherever you’ve shared it.

Your first steps

  1. After signing up, you’re taken to your Dashboard.
  2. Add a profile photo and display name so visitors know who you are.
  3. Write a short bio (one or two sentences).
  4. Add at least one link—your main social, store, or site.

Your page is live as soon as you have an account. You can share the link and keep editing; changes appear immediately.

2 Building your profile

Your profile is the top of your bio page. Make it clear and on-brand.

Profile photo

Upload a square image (e.g. 400×400 px or larger). It appears as a circle on your page. Use a clear headshot or logo so people recognize you.

Display name

This is the name shown on your page. It can be different from your username—for example, your username might be jordan and your display name “Jordan Lee.”

Bio

A short description that appears under your name. Use it to say what you do, what you share, or where else to find you. Keep it concise; most visitors scan quickly.

Tip: Update your bio when you launch something new (e.g. “New EP out now” or “Streaming Wednesdays”).

Profile views

If the feature is enabled, you can see how many times your bio page has been viewed from your dashboard. Use this to see what’s driving traffic and when to refresh your links or bio.

5 FAQ

Is nightbio free?

Yes. You can create an account, build your profile, and add links at no cost. We may offer optional paid features in the future.

Can I change my username?

Yes, from your dashboard. Your old link (nightbio.lol/oldname) will no longer work, so update it anywhere you’ve shared it and tell followers if needed.

Who can see my bio page?

Anyone with your link. Your page is public. Only you can log in and edit your profile and links.

Can I use nightbio for my business or brand?

Yes. Many creators and small businesses use nightbio to centralize their links. Make sure your use complies with our Terms of Service.

What if I forget my password?

On the Login page, use the “Forgot password?” link. Enter your email and we’ll send a link to reset it. Check spam if you don’t see it.

Does nightbio support custom domains?

Currently your link is nightbio.lol/yourusername. Custom domain support may be added in the future; check our announcements or Discord for updates.

6 Troubleshooting

I can’t log in

Confirm you’re using the same method you signed up with (email vs. Google). If you used “Continue with Google,” use that again. If you forgot your password, use “Forgot password?” on the login page. If you still have trouble, reach out on Discord.

My link shows a 404 or “page not found”

Check that the URL is exactly nightbio.lol/yourusername (no typos, no extra slashes). If you recently changed your username, the old link no longer works—use the new one.

My profile or links aren’t updating

Changes are usually instant. Try a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 or Cmd+Shift+R) or open your link in an incognito/private window to rule out caching.

Signups are disabled

We sometimes temporarily disable new signups for maintenance or capacity. Check our Discord or the homepage for updates and try again later.
